After spending many hours watching the first major of the year in golf  over the weekend, I was firstly delighted for the Spaniard Jon Rahm who went onto win in great fashion and 2nd it was five words that will stay with me for a long time “Don’t wait to do something.” these five words were tattooed onto the amateur Sam Bennett’s wrist and were the last words his dad Mark wrote down before he died at an early age from Alzheimer’s.

Today I am saying don’t wait to do something, don’t wait anymore, follow your heart, follow your dreams and make what you want out of life a must going forward. One shot, one chance is all we get from life and putting off and waiting to change a career, start a business, take up a hobby or spend more time with the family will eventually eat at you and a lot of the time will end up being too late to do something about it.

Don’t wait to change yourself to be your best version so you can help with your family, friends your community, your tribe and your country. When we wait fear takes over, we start telling ourselves repeated stories that were not good enough that we are not capable of these amazing things.

It’s time to change the story, to take action, stand tall and stop playing small because you owe it to yourself. I myself need to up my own game, it feels like at times I’m playing in the stands and not on the court or the pitch where all the action takes place. My goal is to to keep playing on the court and coach many people to do the same.

Tim Grover, Michael Jordan’s private coach said

“If you think the price for winning is too high wait until you get the bill for regret”

Take the chance, back yourself and don’t wait no more because you are enough just as you are, everything you need is inside waiting to surface to be freed and manifested into the through you.

DON’T WAIT to do something, later doesn’t always come to everybody.
