Everything starts with a vision, as we speak someone, somewhere is accomplishing a goal that once started out as a vision. We as a human species have the capacity to do amazing things and accomplish the most challenging goals when we believe and stay true to our initial vision.
But sometimes we fall short, lose patience just when the vision we have been watering is about to come true. Our often we tell our visions to the wrong people, they cut us down and then we start questioning ourselves and our ability to achieve them. We have to keep our visions close to our chests our revising them with the right type of people.
Sometimes due to fear, rejection or humiliation our visions end up going to the grave with us without fruition. We have to stay strong, committed and see failure on the journey as a stepping stone to the end prize. We have to become the person that will help or team visualising and completing our visions.
Arnold Schwarzenegger had a crystal clear vison of firstly becoming Mr Universe, then a vision of becoming an actor and finally the vision of becoming the Governor of California. As he said he worked his ass off and let no one or anything stop him achieving his vision. When people said it wouldn’t work he said it would. He proved all the naysayers wrong. Sometimes having a little chip on our shoulder is a great way in seeing our vision coming to light.
I have a vision that every person has this inner ability to become a master at whatever they choose. We are scratching at the surface of our ability and we owe it to ourselves to reach our true potential. We have a choice to be the best we can be or we can drift through life playing small and safe.
I also have a vision we can change the world through kindness one person at a time having a knock on affect. Kindness will not only make you a better person but a stronger person. Dan Carter one of the world’s best ever rugby players mentions kindness as a great asset in any person.
When we face a bully with kindness not alone will you break the vicious cycle but it is a step in the right direction in solving the world’s problem with bullies. We have to stand up and be counted and not let someone else do all the work. We need everyone to come together as one and build a better future for our next generation and that starts with kindness.
The power is in your vision, the choice is yours to act on it.
