There will be many times in life where hanging on by the finger tips may be the only option. It might be hard to keep the smile on the face, drag yourself through another day or listen to your inner voice screaming at you to just give up. These are the days where you are being tested to breaking point but these are the days that will harden you for the future ahead.

To see a small flicker of light at this stage is impossible at times but it’s there if we look a little harder. Your strength, belief, hope and vision will help push the seed through the surface and into the light where massive growth will happen. Your patience will be rewarded and you will look back saying it was tough but hanging in there was the key.

How many times do we hear the rags to riches story where a person someway or somehow found a way to hang on to the burning desire inside? They kept going when others said it wouldn’t work and kept going when letting go was the easier option. Sylvester Stallone for example had to sell his dog Butkus so he could feed himself to just keep going? Thankfully he got the break he bought back Butkus at a much higher fee and both of them starred in the first Rocky movie… The rest is History.

Many people will often look on and only see the tip of the iceberg, the fruits and maybe say it came easy but they will never know or understand what it took below the level of the water to get to this stage. But you will know and never forget the days when the light was low where you somehow managed to turn the day around for a small gain. The small gains eventually stacked into large gains and like Sylvester Stallone the break came and the small seed grew into the mighty Oak tree.

For anyone out there that is finding it hard in life, business or sport hang in there for just another day because those that do will eventually get the break, catch the wave or meet a person that will change their life. As Richard Bach said “What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”
